SHORT HISTORY OF BLED: Bled lies next to the Bled lake and was first mentioned in documents from the year 1004. Till 19 century the Brixen Bishops were in possetion of the town and its surroundings. The tourism in Bled started evolving around 1850 with the help of Arnold Rilki from Switzerland. Bled became very popular vacation spot. In 1854 the first ˝Rikli Spa˝ was opened.

With its surroundings and natural beautys it represents one of the nicest alpine holiday spots which is know by the mild climate and thermal lake water. Beauty reflection of the mountians in the lake, sun, peace and fresh air, make inceredible feelings in visitors at every time of the year and give ideal conditions for a nice holiday or an active vacation.
